This past winter I had a serious case of the blahs. It was cold, snowy and miserable. The winter seemed to drag on forever and by the time January rolled around I was ready for it to be done. By the time February showed up, I was already fantasizing about my dream vacation.
As it turned out, I didn't really have the time to take a holiday on some exotic island. But that was okay! I read a couple great books with vacation themes and it inspired me. If I enjoy vacationing vicariously through fictional characters, then chances are other people do too. So I decided to write a book series about exactly that. I am nearly finished the first book and can't wait to share it with the world!
